How on earth have I never been to Buster’s before last weekend? I’ve driven by it a million times and was always tempted by the ridiculous scent of BBQ, but never stopped. After a picturesque drive up-valley with fam, we stopped in Calistoga to shop main street and then headed to Buster’s for lunch. For the record, Calistoga Olive Oil company has an incredible Garlic Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO). It’s not cheap, but it’s impossible to taste and leave without buying a bottle. So say the 3 ladies who left with 4 bottles between them.

Anyhow, back to Buster’s. Holy cow. Amazing tri-tip sandwich and baked beans. I’m still dreaming about those beans…so good! If there’s a line don’t be discouraged, it moves fast.

My head has been buried in the sand. Well, more accurately, buried in a computer screen. Working Retail during the Holidays is both exciting and exhausting. Oh ya, and stressful. Anyhow, I’m very much looking forward to 2 days off to celebrate Thanksgiving. My Dad has become the Thanksgiving host with the most and I can’t wait to be in Napa to enjoy the day with my family. I’m secretly planning to take a tip from the November issue of Real Simple and incorporate “thanks” into the napkins.

Oh, if you’re reading this and coming to Dad’s for Thanksgiving…uhhh…Spoiler alert!
