We’re having a brunch at work tomorrow so I finally had an excuse to try the Banana Caramel quick bread mix I bought at Williams-Sonoma. I bought it in part to justify buying the Emile Henry loaf pan I didn’t need. I’ve never made a loaf of anything in my life, but it matches the 2 casserole dishes I also bought (because I make casseroles all the time). Anyhow, quick bread is right! It took me about 7 minutes to get this from the bag into the oven. You only need eggs, butter, water, and about 2 minutes of stirring. It couldn’t have been easier. It’s in the oven now…I’ll post a pic of the finished product a little later.

Update: It’s worth the $10.95 just for the aroma! The bread is tasty, but I almost wish it had frosting…or vanilla ice cream…hm…
